Kazan Federal University and EcoOil Priority Research Unit invite young scientists to participate in the International Oil and Gas Projects Competition 2018.
The International Business Congress (IBC) / The Modern Technologies and Prospective Oil and Gas Industry Projects Committee, and The Gas Industry Journal (founder – PJSC Gazprom) have established 2018 International Young Scientists Awards in the Field of Oil and Gas: A Glance Into the Future. EcoOil Priority Research Unit, Kazan Federal University, is a co-organizer of the contest. Being one of the leading national universities in hydrocarbon prospecting, extraction, and refining, KFU will be a motivated expert participant evaluating all the competing projects.
The contest will be held annually, starting in 2018.
Submission Deadline: Wednesday, May 30, 2018 (23:59) Moscow Time
The primary goals of the competition are to:
- Identify and promote cutting-edge technology and innovation for the oil and gas industry;
- Support and encourage research by young scientists;
- Enhance international science and technology collaboration.
Research areas / nomination categories: Hydrocarbon Exploration and Production; Gas Storage and Transportation; Oil and Gas Processing; Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG); Electric Power, and IT Solutions for Oil and Gas Industry.
Eligibility: Any scientist from any country of up to 35 years of age at the time of application engaged in research work, and teams of up to 5 members.
